Yesterday morning, I took a shower then went kayaking for about 45 minutes. When I came back I took another shower. Then we went to a graduation party. When we came back other family members had arrived for dinner and we went kayaking again. When we came back we stayed in the water for a little while, then, I took ANOTHER shower (3 showers total!!). Then we played croquet.
For dinner, we had ribs and chicken. After dinner I went to a beach fire with one of my cousins... We left at 8:45 PM and the fire didn't start until 10:00 PM, no one had matches... At 11:00 2 fireworks were lit, then we left.
Today, more cousins came over and we all went kayaked to the beach. Then played croquet, then had lunch, then played more croquet, then went kayaking again, then they left.

We spent 30 minutes on the Cross Bronx Expressway. When we finally went over the Throgs Neck Bridge into Queens. Then we slowly got on the Cross Island Expressway and slowly went to the Long Island Expressway. Then we spent 2 hours on the Long Island Expressway. Yesterday morning, we went to the airport to pick up my mom. When we got back I mowed the lawns. It once again took 2 hours. Then we had lunch. After lunch I set croquet up in the front yard.
Then after dinner, we played a round of croquet and my grandma won.
Today, I worked with my grandpa on the flag rig for the tractor. We attached the newly painted boards to the metal supports and drilled holes for the flags... A lot more work than it seems.
This afternoon, my grandma and I started to handout invitations to the parade. We got about 6 houses done.
Then we went to the farmer's market. It was OK.

Yesterday morning, I went out and looked at the tractor flag rig for the parade to see if there were any areas that could be improved... There were. This year I am planning on having 2 rows of flags and the 2x4s holding the flags up will be painted red. Now all that is needed is some red paint, but since it was Sunday, the hardware store is closed so it had to wait.
Then I watched my grandpa plain wood for about 45 minutes. I watched old wood become usable. It was interesting.
At 4 PM, we went to a brass quintet in a very hot old church. On the way there we went through a thunderstorm. The concert was very interesting.
When we got back the rain gauge read 1.5 inches... Amazing!!!!
Today, I went to the hardware store with my grandpa and we got the red paint need for the flag rig. When we got back, I started painting the wood. Then I went into the house because it is too hot and humid to be outside. At 3 PM I went back out to mow parts of the yard. That's when I saw a woodchuck scurrying through the bushes... Not good...

Yesterday I woke up at 10 (the usual) and had raisin bread for breakfast (the usual), after breakfast, my grandma and I cleaned all of the screens for the windows. Then, I mowed the shade garden. By this time it was time for lunch. I had an egg bagel with scrambled eggs on it and bacon.
After lunch, my grandpa and I surveyed the woods to see what needed to be trimmed. A lot needs to be trimmed. Then I started putting the screens back into some of the windows.
For dinner we had steak and corn on the cob. Good stuff.
Today, I went out to the barn to find the flag rig for the tractor for the independence day parade. I was successful. Then I thought I could spruce the flag rig up a bit... I am adding a second row of flags and I am going to paint the wood red and blue. Then it got really humid and sticky so everyone went inside. It is sticky enough for me to go into the bedroom with AC and go on the computer. I have been on the computer on and off for 3 hours.

Yesterday morning when my grandma was off playing golf, my grandpa and I trimmed the hedge in front of the house then we had lunch. After lunch I mowed, then I mowed, and then I finally mowed. It was 2 hours of sitting down on a bouncy tractor... My favorite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today I helped my grandpa put the perch back up that had fallen in the field. Then we tried to take down a tree with the tractor... It didn't work... At all...

Yesterday, I mowed around the field with and lawn mower then went to best buy to return the router that we purchased in California. We swapped the Netgear N600 for the less powerful N300. On the way home, we stopped by my aunt's house to get the hedge trimmer, then we went to the grocery store.
Today, I woke up early to help my grandfather thin out the apple tree. Then I mowed a path around the garden waste in the field for easy tractor access, I also mowed a path to the bridge leading into the woods.
At 1:15, my grandmother and I went to Home Depot and got a replacement part for the kitchen sink.

Yesterday, my grandmother, mother, and I woke up at 3:30 AM (4.5 hours after I went to bed) to leave for San Francisco International Airport, where my grandmother and I caught a 6:00 AM flight to Phoenix, Arizona. The flight was about 2 hours long. Then we had a 1 hour layover to catch a 4 hour flight to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Then another 1 hour layover to catch a 30 minute flight to Ithaca, New York.
Upon arriving at the house, I quickly discovered the Internet didn't work... NOT GOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!! I brought a router from California... but I also looked at it and noticed the modem was built into the router which wouldn't work anyways with the wacky internet company.
Today, we went to my cousin's (long) soccer game. When we came back I mowed a path around the field with the brush mower.
