Zipping over San Fransisco

Yesterday, my dad and I went to San Francisco to go bike riding. We parked at 35th Ave and Taraval St. We went up Taraval St then down Dewey Blvd. Then, we turned right on Woodside Ave then, merged on to Portola Dr. Portola Dr. was all downhill and at the bottom of the hill it turned into Market St. When we finally got to the ferry building we parked the bikes and went inside because my dad had never been inside. While inside we had a couple oysters. When we came to get the bikes we noticed that there was a zip line setup over the plaza. We had to go check it out. It was $ 29 dollars a person but we did it anyway. It was so fun. when we got on our bikes again he headed up to Broadway St on the way to House of Nanking (a restaurant). When we were done having lunch, we started head back to the car. We passed through Pacific Heights (it was mostly uphill), we went passed Alta Plaza, we went down Geary Blvd., we went through Golden Gate Park, down through the Sunset district, and finally we got to the car. It was an 18 mile bike ride.

Last full day in Oregon

Today, I woke up at 10:00 AM and we packed up the car to go to the hills, via my uncle's and my cousin's mom. When we had everybody, we drove towards my uncle's favorite swimming hole, but e encountered a road closure 10 miles from it. We turned around and found a park on the creek instead. When we got to the park, we immediately got in the water. It was cold at first, but it warmed up. It tried to pan for gold, but I wasn't in the right place. We also tried to catch crayfish, but we weren't in the right place for that either. Then, we had a picnic lunch then, swam for a few more hours. When we got back to my uncle's house, I took a shower, then, put my shoes on the roof of his car so I wouldn't forget them. Then, we left, when we got about half way to my grandparent's, we heard the person behind us honk. It was because one of my shoes had fallen of the roof of the car. My uncle went and got the one that flew off and the other one was still up there. Then, I realized that I also forgot my bathing suit at my uncle's also. When we got to my grandparent I tried hooking up rabbit ears to the T.V. again, but this time I called directv they said that I could plug the rabbit ears into the DVR and could use the rabbit ears to get local channels and record them. They were wrong, plus my grandpa didn't want them. After dinner we had homemade raspberry ice cream and my cousin is staying the night.

Sixth Day in Oregon

Today, I got up and made scrambled eggs and played flight simulator. Then, at 10:30 AM, we had to leave to drop my cousin's friend of at her house and my cousin at her mom's house. Then, my uncle and I continued on to my grandparent's house. Then, we went out to sushi. After sushi, we went out on the boat. I got a lot of air on the inner tube. Maybe 2 feet. Then, we "had" to go to my cousin's riding lesson to watch he jump. Meanwhile, my uncle was dropping of the boat and getting some rabbit ears for the T.V. When I got home I tried out the rabbit ears and the picture quality was excellent. Then, I tried to put it up in the attic but I didn't want to crawl.

Fifth Day in Oregon

Yesterday, we went to a parade that my cousin was in, then, we went to my uncle's house to celebrate my cousin's birthday. We broke a pinata and watched the Munsters. When everybody left, we had a bond fire and watched a very funny movie called, "Kong Pow". Plus, we played a couple games of pool.

Fourth Day in Oregon

Today, my grandma took my cousin to her mom's house at 8:00 AM. Then, I got up and worked on the go cart and took a drive in the golf cart. Then, I needed to go into town and get parts for the go cart and I wanted to see how much it would cost to put more RAM in my laptop. When we got back, my grandma said that my uncle wasn't feeling well and said he would be running late. He got to my grandparent's house at noon. We immediately got in the car and went down to the river with the boat. Minutes later I was one a raft flying down a river. When I got in the boat, I wanted to go south. I sat down and started driving south. We went under the freeway and I slowed down for the no wake zone and stayed to the right of the markers. Then, we heard a loud honk. It was the coast guard. They pulled us over and said that it was no wake in between the highway and the railroad bridge. They gave us a safety check and we passed it. They did not give us a citation and we went on our way. On our way back to the dock, I was driving. I saw a boat far in the distance that coming our way and from 500 yards away I could tell it was the coast guard when we went past the boat, it was the coast guard. Everyone was amazed about how well I can see. When we got back, my uncle left and we went to play golf. We waited a lot because the people in front of us were very slow. We finally went home and had dinner. After dinner, We opened up my grandpa's old computer and took a plug out of it that my grandpa might need in the future.

Boating

Today, I got up and made scrambled eggs at my cousin's house. When I went out to get the eggs, I noticed that one of theirs chickens was very sick. I said that they should probably shot water down its throat. at about noon, we headed over to my grandparent's house. Then, we took the boat to the boat ramp just down the road. We decided that we were going to go south today on a new part of the river that we have never been on. Immediately my uncle started water skiing. After he water skied once We had lunch and I inflated the inner tube. After lunch, my uncle and I rode it then, he got tired and my cousin wanted to get off the boat along with my grandma, so my uncle tried docking the boat behind my grandparent's house so they could get off. It worked. I continued to go on the inner tube alone after that. When we all got back we were so tired. My cousin and I put the go cart back together and made it so we could fit in it. It is now easy to drive. We had ribs for dinner, my favorite, they were falling off the bone.

Second Day in Oregon

Yesterday morning, I went to Fry's and got my grandpa a portable hard drive, then, we went to the grocery store and the car wash. After we got back I headed over to help someone learn how to use an iPad, while my grandpa put all of his old files on the hard drive. I also figured out how to get Photoshop on the new computer. At 11:00 AM my uncle came over with the boat. After lunch, my uncle and I went out on the canoe. We went down the Mollala river and then up the Willamette river to my grandparent's house. At 5:00 PM, my aunt drove my cousin over with one of her friends for dinner. We had a lot of fun until dinner. We were in the dinning room when my cousin's friend accidentally jumped on the end of my finger. It hurt so much that I got a stomach ache and through up during dinner. At first we thought it was a broken finger, but my uncle said that the fingernail was squeezed. After dinner, I went to my uncle's house. We shot pool and watched the Little Rascals.

Back in Oregon

Today, I flew to Portland Oregon to see my grandparents. My uncle, my cousin, and my grandparents picked me up at the airport. We dropped my uncle off to get his car and drive to my grandparents' house separately. Then, we stopped at Fred Meyer to get some groceries and change reservations at a restaurant. Then we got to my grandparents' house. The first thing we did after my uncle arrived was going to the pool. Then, we went for some drives in the golf cart. Then, we went swimming in the river. When we got back from the river I took a shower, then, we watched an hour and a half of "Soul Surfer". It was pretty good. At around 6 my grandpa left to go pick up is new computer at FedEx. When he got back, I started setting up the computer immediately. Then, at around 6:30 PM, my uncle had to go drop my cousin off at her mom's house. When he got back we all went out to dinner at a brand new restaurant. The food was all free because they needed to train all of their chefs. The food was O.K. When we got back to the house I continued to install programs, but I could install Photoshop, because the version I was trying to load was to old for windows 7 and all his other copies are upgrades.

Working

Two day last week, I helped at my dad's office. First, I made a spreadsheet for distances to different locations. Then, I made a banner for the bottom of all the companies e-mails. Making banners are harder than you would expect plus, I made them using Photoshop.

Biking in San Fransisco

Last Saturday, we went bike riding in San Francisco. We parked by the zoo and went all the way to Alamo square. On our way, we stopped at the cliff house and looked at the Camera Obscura then, we went to the remains of Sutro baths. Then, we went through Golden Gate Park to Haight-Ashbury. There we lunch at a cafe called the Red Victorian. Then, we continued to Alamo square to look at the view. I was a bit cloudy that day, but you could still see downtown. On our way back, we went into the wind. While we were in the park, somehow, we turned around and started going east instead of west. I could tell because I could see the Golden Gate bridge, so, we turned around and went back down the beach.
