Today, on my way to school we got a call from my school saying that my school is flooded. We were still in San Jose when we got the call but we decided to go on. When we got there, there was a crowd of teachers standing outside the building. They told us that a pipe had broke and flooded some offices and some class rooms. They also said that school might not be in for a couple of days.
Just the Friday before the flood the founder of the school came and talked and their was a big party. I am so glad the flood happened now instead of then.

Trip to Oregon Day 6
Wednesday, my final day, I made some pancakes for breakfast en then I drove the golf cart. My uncle was coming over for dinner, so I thought it would be nice to make a galette Des Rois and green beans. I cooked the beans with almonds and cranberries. I cooked the almonds a little to long. I had a nice day but it could off been nicer.
Trip to Oregon Day 5

When we got the boat in the water and to where we wanted to fish I turned on the bilge and water started pouring out of the back of the boat, right then we thought that we had a leak. Soon, the water stopped pouring out. My Grandpa thought it was just run off from when they cleaned the boat. It was. Then, I drove at top speed to lunch because I WAS HUNGRY.
For lunch we stopped right on the water at Newport seafood grill. We pulled the boat right up to the dock next to the restaurant. On the way back I drove at top speed to were we would start fishing again. We pulled our lines around 3:00 PM and got to my uncle's around3:30 PM. At my uncle's house we decided to have my cousin stay over all night after her swim lesson. We got home around 4:00 PM and had to leave to pick her up at 4:45 PM. When we got to the pool where she had her swim lesson she was in the car and had "a stomach ache" witch mysteriously soon went away when she got in my grandparent's car.
Trip to Oregon Day 4
On Monday, I drover the golf cart the whole morning and then in the afternoon we went into Portland for a Portland underground tour. It was very interesting. They talked about the bad guys in Portland history and the flooding in Portland history. The only think I didn't like about it was that I thought I would be walking through tunnels but really I walked through a couple basement rooms. Overall it was very interesting.
On the way home we stopped at the grocery store and got dinner and chicken livers so I could make chicken liver pate. When we got home I drover the golf cart some more.

Trip to Oregon Day 3

Sunday was probably the best day. It started off with a dune buggie ride on sand dunes and by the way we were going 60 MPH. We were doing that for about 1 hour. Then, we had lunch on the water. When we were done eating we left to see my dad's cousin's daughter, in Eugene. We got to Eugene just fine but once we were in Eugene things started to go wrong. We were following my grandpa's car because it had a GPS in it but the GPS was taking us in the wrong direction but finally after being in Eugene for 30 minutes we finally found her house. We were at her house for about 30 minutes then we left for Portland (we didn't have trouble getting out of Eugene). For dinner we had beef tacos at my uncle's house and a postprandial bond fire.

Trip to Oregon Day 1

I left San Jose international airport around 10:00 AM and I got to Portland around 12:00 PM. In Portland my grandparents picked me up at the airport and took me about a half hour south of Portland to their house. The first thing was lunch at a Japanese restaurant. Then it was driving the golf cart, around their neighborhood and we stopped at the country club to play a baby grand piano. It sounded very good. Then we went to my cousin's horse riding lesson. After that she slept over for the night. It was a long night because she couldn't settle down but finally she did.
