3 new chicks

Today my grand parents and I went to Feather Haven in Morgan hill to get 3 chicks. We bought

1 Leghorn (left) Lucy

1 Black Sexlink (middle) Prudence

1 bar rock (right)

Day trip to San Fransisco

Yesterday we went to San Fransisco.

We went to Alcatraz, a restaurant called Plouf, and on our way home we stopped and took 5 pictures of the buildings Mythbusters takes place.
At Alcatraz we saw the cell house, the guard tower, and the lighthouse.

At the restaurant we all had muscles and for dessert I had ice cream with lemon in the middle.

On our way home we stopped and I took pictures of the buildings where Mythbusters takes place.

4th day in Port Townsend

We got up had breakfast took a long walk to Pt. Wilson lighthouse then came back. We were supposed to have lunch with a friend but we didn't so my mom and I went to a sushi restaurant then came home. Then we went to the store and went to restaurant with a friend. Then we took a tour of ????? and then went home. I took a bath then made a fire, had dinner then went to bed.

3rd day in Port Townsend

Yesterday we did more yard work and took a long walk into town we stopped at the Port Townsend museum then headed uptown to the bakery and got a loaf of bread then went home. Later in the afternoon we went for a long bike ride south of PT but we had to cut it short because my bike is a rental and we had to give it back to the rental shop.

2nd day in Port Townsend

Yesterday we got up and did a lot of yard work. I mowed most of the front lawn my mom did a lot of brick work on the pathway. Then my mom and I went down to PT bicycles and I rented a bike then we took a 4 hour bike ride through Ft. Warden and PT public trails. This is a picture of 1 of many bunkers at Ft. Warden State Park.

 

We went through the 2 foot wide tunnels, went down Haven and Hell, and finally went up the tall ladder. We even saw an eagle.

 Then we headed for town and then home. When we got home I took a bath then we had dinner, had another fire, and finally we watched American Idol then went to bed.

1st day in Port Townsend

Yesterday we had to get up and go to the airport and leave to Seattle. We rented a car in Seattle and drove to Port Townsend. We went over two bridges on our way and saw the Tacoma Dome.

When we got to Port Townsend we went on a very long walk through town and went to the grocery store than went home then went on another long walk to fort Warden state park. Then came back home and had dinner than we had a fire and played Beatle records and watched American Idol then we all went to bed.

Lesson 13/04/09

Today's lesson was not the best lesson of all time because I was not doing it the right way. But I do have some really good pictures.

The only part that I really liked was the end when I did all of them at once.

Field trip to Coloma California

Day 1

We lived the life a gold miner. We made cornbread, made gold pouches, and panned for gold.

Day 2

We went on a long hike through town and up the hill. We saw a church, James Marshall's house, and where James Marshall is buried.

Day 3

We packed up and left.
