Lesson 22/03/09

This was a lesson of recuperation and of correcting my mistakes but I still jumped as you see here.
At the end of my lesson I was proud of myself because of this.

Another train village in my room

This train village is the best one I have ever built( the town of Sunnyvale). It has electricity supplied by a battery and the electricity from the battery goes into a volt meter and then goes in to wires that go to wires that go next to a bridge then goes under the electric track and goes next to the light house and then goes to the train station then to the factory.

The air port has only one airline. Air France. and two helicopter rides to three local airports. San jose Mineta international by the smaller hellicopter nonstop and the biger hellicopter nonstop to Oakland and San Fransisco international airports.

New school

Yesterday I toured a new school its name is the international school of the peninsula. During my tour I saw the computer lab, all the classrooms (all the rooms had smart boards), the lunch room/theater room/indoor sports room, the playground outside.

09/03/09 Landscaping

On the 09/03/09 we did a complete landscaping overhaul in the back yard.we planted flowers and pulled weeds and even planted seeds and plants in half of the garden. I also planted 17 jade plants from seed. And also planted flowers on the deck.

In the garden we planted beets (from seed), cucumber (already grown) , leeks (from french seed), radish (from seed) , Swiss chard (from seed) , and beans (from seed).

Under the plum tree we pulled out the old weeds and the decorative bricks then planted new flowers and put back in the bricks.

Lesson 08/03/09

For the past the three weeks I have not have any jumping lessons because of bad weather. But this week we had a lesson.

This weeks lesson was not the easiest lesson of all because I had to to multiple jumps at a time and in a odd order. At the end I almost fell of my horse because we went over a wide jump.

Day trip to Bear Valley

Yesterday (07/03/09) we took a day trip to Bear Valley. When we got there I got claustrophobic in the rental place and I almost through up. Then my dad knew that I didn't feel good but we skied most of the day. We skied mostly blues and a couple blacks. We left early and went home.

Letter to Arnold Schwarzenegger

For the past couple days I am writing a letter to governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Here is the letter. This picture is the governor at my mom's office.

March 4, 2009

Dear Governor Schwarzenegger:
I am 9 years old and in 4th grade and I am a republican. We are studying history and I have to write a biography on a person who is important in American history. I chose you.

I chose you because you are the governor of my state and because of the interesting path that you took to become governor. Your story inspires me to know that anyone can do anything if they work hard.

I have done my research and visited the capitol building. But I am interested to know if you could tell me something about yourself that I will not find in a book. Like, who is your favorite person in American history (besides Ronald Reagan), what did you accomplish as governor that you are most proud of, and what will you do when your term runs out?
I know you are busy, but I hope you can help me.
Respectfully yours,
Alexander Eischen
P.S. I am sending you a picture of me in front of your office door that my father took when we visited the capitol last week.

Trip to the capitol

We got to the mountain on sunday and we were met with a blizzard so sadly we left to return home. When we were driving through Sacramento my mom got the idea that we should stop at Sutter's Fort. She had the idea because I read a book called Patty Reeds Doll which took place at the fort and I've been wanting to go there since I read the book. When we got back the next day at school I presented my fort photos to my class. Then we had the idea to go to the capitol building. We went to the capitol and decided to go in the capitol. We went in the capitol and saw the doors of the governor's office. Then we had the idea that we should drive by the Governor's mansion. We drove past the governor's mansion and decided to go inside and take a tour. We took the tour and we learned that the Reagen's were the last to live there.

1st day skiing in the sierras

On the 1st day skiing we skied at Sierra-at-Tahoe. We skied blues blacks and greens (for my dad’s old boss (beginner). My dad and I skied a difficult black under the chair lift at West bowl twice, it was pretty difficult. Over all we had a pretty excellent day of skiing.

This picture shows me in front of the sierra sign at sierra-at-Tahoe.
